WELCOME TO THE BYOS INNOVATER'S TOURNAMENT 2022

Welcome all to The BYOS Innovator’s Tournament, 2022! In light of the resurgence of COVID-19 in China and Shanghai, it has come to the attention of society that we must always be prepared for the worst.

This tournament’s objective, is to allow the brightest minds of Shanghai to think of innovative, feasible, and impactful product ideas that will aid our society during lockdown. It could be a drone that delivers food, a new breed of hazmat suits, or a type of testing kit - the choice is yours. Without the pressure of actually manufacturing the product, this tournament will allow your imagination to run wild to create the much needed solutions that a virus-strained society needs.

Through a PPT, Prezi, Word Doc, mp4 Video, or any other format that will effectively convey your ideas, you must submit a success plan for your product, as if pitching it to investors. Assuming that we have never met you or heard of your Ideas, make sure to clearly introduce and explain all details of your product, and why it will work. We recommend all contenders to include detailed design sketches of the product, explanation of the science behind it, the costing/pricing of your product, and how you intend to get it out in the market. Don’t worry, we know you’re just students and we don’t expect a Harvard Business Plan! Good luck to you all, and may the best innovator win!
